Here is a shot of the Bing Carburetor with large intake silencer box. This combo really muffles the intake noise and the soft carburetor mount makes for very smooth engine operation. The engine has been re-tuned by Fresh Breeze with their own tuned pipe/carburetor and redrive combination that work together with the composite propeller for quiet but powerful and smooth operation. |

The Simonini The Simonini is built as a stand-up powerhead with a four part prop guard.
Two prop sizes are available – 110 cm and 122 cm in diameter. This
motor closes the gap between the Solo and the Hirth engine. Standard features
are the High Energy Ignition and a high power resonator. This is not the
stock Simonini engine. It has been retuned by Fresh Breeze. The tuned
pipe and re-drive have lowered the power band of the engine allowing very
quiet operation and increased longevity. The Simonini has high power to
weight ratio. The certification from the DULV (German Ultralight Association)
guarantees safety and quietness.The crankshaft is finely balanced in Germany.
The crankshaft
bearings are replaced with German super duty ROLLER bearings with a much
longer life than the stock bearings. The crankcase
is reinforced with a stainless steel plate to reinforce the stock crankcase. The Fresh
Breeze pullstart is installed. Fresh Breeze motors are also available
with an electric starter and a pullstart. The famous
BING Floatbowl Carburetor is fitted for instant starting. The Fresh Breeze tuned pipe is installed. This pipe is designed on the Fresh Breeze engine dyno to smooth out and lower the powerband of the engine. A little power is sacrificed, but the rpms are reduced to 6,000, for very quiet power and long life. All other motor units use the stock simonini pipe that tends to crack after a while and the rpms are over 7,000. Fresh Breeze,

Fresh Breeze
comes with a superb composite propeller. Fresh Breeze uses a large, high mounted gas tank for reliable fuel delivery and long duration flights. Fresh Breeze
has a separate harness that allows for great weight shift and the harness
can easily be used for ground handling. All Fresh
Breeze units are destructively tested and certified by DULV. Fresh Breeze
units feature a soft J-bar suspension system. |
